To promote high quality of content provided as far as possible according to locally decided values and standards, with particular references to information, education, advertisements and decency.

BBFC

The british board of film classification is an independent, non government organisation and responsible for the classification and videos in the UK.

The BBFC is important as it stops films being automatically released, which may contain obscene aspects or torture
